Departure in Jeep to Pinhão, considered the heart of the Douro Valley, where we can find many of the wine-producers of Porto and Douro wine. It’s a rich village with beautiful landscapes and whose economic base is the wine. The train station is decorated with nineteenth-century tiles, authentic portraits of the Douro grape harvest.
In Pinhão we will visit one of the oldest producing farms of the famous wine of this demarcated region and enjoy a wine tasting, with a view to one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes of Duriense region.
After the visit and wine tasting, it is time to have lunch in a typical restaurant, one of the best “homemade food” restaurants in the Douro Valley.
Return to Porto with a stop in Amarante.
